Hatsan 135 vortek
« on: June 03, 2015, 10:30:12 PM »
I've been having issue with my scope moving around, so today I pulled it off and put double sided tape in the rings and did my best to level it.
Starting to get some good groupings, although I need to work on my shooting. I am pulling alot of my shots just to the right. I'm only guessing this because when I get a shot that feels right, then get my eye back on target the shot is good vertically. I think I have to work on this before really narrowing my pellet choice down. The wild looking shots in the last pic were from another session.

It's interesting the difference in results with each pellet.
If you feel you are pulling the shots to the right, and you are right handed, I guess it's possible your trigger finger is pulling the gun over. Try placing your thumb upright on the grip, then imagine a line between your thumb and finger and squeeze in that straight line so you don't push or pull the gun to the side.

I ain't no expert, it's just something I do.  :)

I tend to get the same issue and did what pauly5 suggested (I'm right handed) plus lightened my trigger. Seems to have worked.

Good to pick up out as it can change your poi with range. By that I mean you compensate for the movement at your zero range but you get a different poi closer or further out than your zero range
