MMMmm,

Sounds good Andrew, guess you'll be looking for a PCP shortly then, oh dear, could be the start of something good.

And the market for second hand PCPs is good atm, a buyer's market definitely - second hand generally around 40-45% new price.

Compare this to ~60% for good springers and ~75% for good scopes.

You could get a second hand FN19 from Ron for $500 in .177 and be away laughing in HP-PCP class.

Great news on comming over to the 'Dark Side' Andrew. Ron Young says not likely to NZ getting any of the new FX Impacts but with your contacts maybe the gun regulators would allow one into the country for evaluation? I understand they are such good value in the US that some potential owners are looking at buying multiple rifles rather than into swapping of barrels.
Respect the man with just one gun....he probably knows how to use it!

Yeah, nice rifles too the Falcon, might surprise you and show you how good you really are. Ron Young that is, Youngs Airguns, look online at the monthly catalogue.

Don't forget the tank and other fill gear. I think mintie had a couple of clamps and adapters.

Next step is to get a gun safe. Now remember to get at least an 8 gun safe, just in case you catch the disease bad.

Good rifles, the FN19 series. Suffer from a smaller than optimum tank, but tune to 12ftlb with the right hammer spring easily enough and the old Titan barrels are pretty bloody good.
