No, sounded more like a ...phuck phuck go!

Some good Saturday baa's were had at the Morrinsville RSA, where it took a brave Dingoz to weather the parochial All Black supporters.

How many hands have we got for Sun 6th buzy bee day?
I will bring a new tree mount prototype. Just 3 pieces of 200 by 25 rough sawn H4 radiata. Strong enough to hang big Hoss (aka Bonanza) off, yet easy peezy to level fix to any size trunk dia.
Okay I'm blowing my horn again.......but this one is pure KIS4SS.
Keep it simple for shooter's stupid!
I will be land-based as my knee is totally focked until my Nov 18th fix.

Cool.   We need to figure out 4 new target placements.   So will use the mount for one of them.  :)

At a pinch we could use empty wooden beer crates for temporary target tree mounts. I'm a fan of this idea on proviso I get to help with the emptying thirst!
Anyway let's sample my proto mount for proof of purpose. It has the option to mount 2 targets (ie one either side of the tree trunk). ie for different lanes or varying target with reducer for a day 2 shoot.
Will we have tree climbing gear Sunday?

Yes, we will have ladders and such on Sunday.   Going to bring that 1 really high one down to a lower level.   And look at lowering a couple of the others.

Productive team effort at Sunday's Ranui Forest FT 'working-bee'.

10 lanes of 3 targets, shot twice each day over the weekend of 19th-20th Nov. (ie a 120 maximum target score).

The longer 45m- 50m target placements will be great fun when the northerly cross-wind blows.

Your new target mounts are the bomb.   Very snappy design.    Will get a few more organised at some point.

Was a good little practice session.    No rain.  Very little wind.   Got some things tweaked on the setup.   Enjoyed the few hours I spent there

Thanks Brandon, AJ, and Paul  :)

Just seeing if any one is still alive in here, as last post in July is some time for you guys to still be holding your breaths.

We are still hanging around. Unfortunately we don't have the warehouse to shoot at anymore on a regular basis. All that's happening lately is field target mainly at 643. Comp on the 28 this month if you're keen. I see you're still slinging lead?
