The starting of a 2250 Build
« on: July 03, 2015, 12:16:04 PM »
Well I have done things in the wrong order,

I am going to build up a Crosman 2250, for something fun to do and take along for walks while fishing rivers. Starting out it shall be what I would consider a mild build put will probably turn out to be something completely different.

But instead of getting the gun first I already have a steel breech from Youngs with the handle and bolt + suppressor adapter heading my way shortly.

Still saving up a bit more money to get the 2250b.

Because every one likes pictures here is the breech even though I am sure everyone one here has seen one before.

I shall endeavour to keep this post updated.

I went to Upper Hutt Gun Shop yesterday and had a look at the 2240 they had. I have got them ordering a 2250 in for me and will find out tomorrow the ETA, hopefully by next weekend.

All very exciting.

So on my website I have created a Projects page and I have created a tab as well for what will be my Crosman 2250 build.

It is Located at

Crosman 2250b Build

Please feel free to pop over and have a look around.

As an aside, I had a spare Raspberry Pi sitting around so decided to self host my web page and hence it can run a little slow.

Hmm I have a bit of a Dilemma,

I have asked Upper Hutt Gun Shop to order one in and they have come back to say it would be due in late August, so 6 weeks. I would like to support my local but not sure I can wait that long.

Just spoken with Outdoor Supplies and they have them in stock.

Not sure what I should do, what are your thoughts?

$241 + shipping - One of the better prices I could find.
