So the scope is on order. I have lost that ball bearing for the safety now as well, but my replacements are almost in country.

I have painted the stock green, still very much not sure about it. I may try turn it camo with some matt black I have lying around. The green is lot brighter in the photo than in real life but still a little weird I think.

Also just brought 10 12g capsles for $10 and a 12oz paint ball tank for $20 from Trademe with the possibility of bulk filling.

At least it is not pink.
How does the little 4 x 20 scope go on the gun?

Haha maybe i should try hot pink :)

It is so bad. I can't get it to sight in. it seems to move after every shot. you can't see much in it. total waste of time. maybe put it on a toy gun, but again probably not.

I had 4x20 like that on my first rifle, also a 2250 (bugged). Also unsatisfying.

Swapping it out for various better scopes was probably the best investment I made on that gun :D

That and the cheekpiece riser.

Yes scope has arrived :-)

Only been able to look through it in the house, pretty dark outside but having the AO is so good.

Also going to paint the stock black again.

The 2250 is on its way for Mintie to work his magic on it. Be interesting to see what fpe he is able to get and the general feel the gun afterwards.

Awesome to have the forum back,

With it back I think it's time to give an update to this, I have bulk filled my 2250b and I am rapt with it. No more little powerlets and one day will run HPA to get rid of CO2 altogether.

Here is a link to my blog post on how I did it.

Looking good! Must be getting a huge shot count off the bigger bottle now! Your tune was done for a mix of a bit more power while still retaining a decent shot count, The valve could be opened up a bit and a bit more tuning with the vavle and hammer springs should see it get another few fpe out of that barrel.
Lots of airguns

mmmm CO2. Can't warm to that just yet. Question. Is that bottle attached to the frame of the gun so it goes where the gun goes? If so how does the weight aft affect the shouldering.
Anyway gun looks good.

Yea it is attached, I haven't noticed too much different.

Do want to go hpa in the end.
