Thanks Nova, I'm bored tonight so I worked out some anagrams for 'only slyrod'......here's what came about.
Dryly snool (sounds messy)
Sly no rod (dang goes my fishing, taken with liberties)
Lordy sly no (another telling off)
Only dry los (my favourite, for all the blokes who have undergone the 'snip')

Interesting foot note:

George Bush - is an anagram of "he bugs Gore"
Bob Marley - is an anagram of "Marble Boy"
Funeral - is an anagram of "Real Fun"
The Eyes - is an anagram for "They See"
Bruce Springsteen - is an anagram for "Creep brings tunes"
Debit Card - is an anagram for "Bad Credit"

Now having wasted the time of readers's foolish enough to read this dribble, I will devote a comment about shooting........Guns & Roses are comming to town near you!

Some of you may know that one of my knees is shot, reducing me to a pussy on a FTart cushion. Well the doc had me booked into the workshop for the Friday before Nationals......While I'm not against getting my snooly hands around a pair of crutches, I felt my shooting options would be a disaster.

Consequently I am re-booked for mid November to complete the chop n' channel job.

Now my last portable seat (one of those knock-off made in Pakistan fold-out shooting sticks) shat it's physical integrety at 643FT.....no sheep were harmed but a pole nearly went up my bum & almost wrecked him (rectum). You are thinking?

In a moment of internet shopping madness, I flashed the credit card at another portable seat to get me around the two days of chuckles come the Labour Weekend Nationals, & those tedious AGM's that follow!

Here's some images of my new folding seat (made down the road from the FX Factory). Now if I were to buy a few more then I could work under my Swedish Taxi...I shit you not, one of these seats will take a static load of 250kg. That's a lot of lapp dancers & credit card by my reckoning.

If anyone's feeling envious or just plain crazy to buy one of these Swedish 'Walkstools', ProGear in Auckland carry them in 3 different height options for midgets, widgets & giants.

Well the day started with a fog at my place, but once out and over the hills, it cleared up, to be a fine day. Cloud cover and a chilly breeze greeted us at the Forest.

Good turnout today, Thank you to those that turned up for what was our first proper shoot at the new venue. There were a few targets identified as being faulty, this was expected, and we will work on them all till they are going over as they should. A few teething problems were expected, so thanks for the feedback, and patience.

The wind played a factor in todays shoot. With at times gusting enough to have a decent amount of hold off occuring. (not too mention freezing).

So we shot 25 twice. We had a good mixture today. PCP, Springers, and HI/PWR PCP's.

Scores.
PCP :
Andrew J - 41
Jeff H - 38
Brandon S - 37
Andrew C - 37

HI PWR PCP:
Dave J - 41
Charlie W - 41 (Charlie is our newest member, and is only his 3rd outing with his Edgun, 1st Outdoor Shoot). So brilliant effort there Charlie. Well done
Allan - 34

Sporter:
Terry L - 65
Michael A - 55 (Top effort there Monkey) Smile

So a bloody good day, heaps of fun. Again thanks for the feedback, re the course, and the target issues. I'm positive we will get them sorted the more we shoot there.

Laters.  :)

I snapped a couple.  But was kept busy in between shooting, fixing targets, and chopping branches, and so forth.

Didn't really have the time to take photos like I had intended
