Stoeger ATAC .22, gas ram, comments?
« on: December 12, 2017, 07:52:56 AM »
So hunting and fishing have a sale on and the stoeger atac. Have long thought about adding a . 22 air rifle to the collection. Asides from a few generally non-specific and varied opinions on GRT gas rams on the net, i haven't found much.
It has silly picatinny rails on the forestock with bipod legs on... removable, but...

I'd be interested to know if any one has used one in anger, particularly what kind of dB it's at, and obviously accuracy.

Was looking at the Stoeger F40, at H&f, looks a nice rifle, though can't find much in reviews, other than manufacturers promo.
Might yet still just buy one for the heck of it.

yeah...can't quite justify it to myself even at $550 or so. the ATAC's hefty, but comes to hand nicely, and fits me though...
