Pellets
« on: June 24, 2018, 05:37:04 PM »
I had to kill some time in the main street of Taumaranui. You know, on the main trunk line.
I wandered into the outdoor shop and wandered out with a tin of Crosman pellets. Labeled Webley VMX.
They are a cross between a wad cutter and a dome head. 8.13 gns. Not bad in the 953.
I thought pretty good for $14.99 for the tin.
The cashier couldn't tell why they weren't labelled $15.00 because she didn't have 1 cent for change.

Took the VMX pellets out to the small bore range yesterday.

Groups were a little bit tighter with the VMX that the old favouriates JSB and H&N. And $14.99 a tin.

Do you go there in the evening or do they do a Tuesday lunch session too?

No lunch time sessions.
10 metre air rifle range but that is a separate club. They are very serious shooters.
