WAGC (waikato) 2nd qualifier shoot is on the 17th March will be exactly the same format etc as the 1st, the only thing that has changed is the month.

Entry $10 per person, certificates to all

Any air rifle restricted to 25ft/lbs in 177,20 or 22 cal Only

Sighting in strictly 9.15-9.45am
Competition starts at approx 10am
2 rounds of 25 targets shot twice over 12 lanes
Lunch break 1/2hr between rounds, No sighting during the break for lunch

Tea/Coffee provided but bring your own lunch and Water
Cold drinks $1
Sausages n bread after the shoot

where do you guys shoot ? is it still out cambridge off ( ohaupo ? ) road ?
and are there days "less formal" or is it mainly just FT ?

No not out Ohaupo way any more. Now its on Airport Road at Narrows Park, just up the road from the Narrows Golf Club.

Yep, Last weekend we shot Hunter FT which is much less formal, no target guns or fancy scope settings etc. Excellent fun!

Hi

Four of us have spring guns but we dont use them that much although we will be as the Nationals are coming up, but your more than welcome to use it anytime you come over. Gamos can be troublesome rifles that are not very consistent and normally need a bit of tuning to improve them,but most things are possible. For not much more than a good spring gun you can get a pcp these days.

Well, the gamo project is scraped. Now waiting on my licence to come. If not i may just save for a tx or prosport and go for it in springer 12ftlb division.
